Our Environmental Vision:
To be a leader in creating a sustainable future for all
Through a commitment to the principles of sustainable development we endeavour to create a sustainable future and continuously improve our environmental performance. This commitment is an obligation of the management team and responsibility of every employee.
We achieve this by:
- Maintaining and continuously improving on performance requirements outlined in the Workplace Health, Safety and Wellbeing Policy. Ensuring employees are appropriately trained and skilled to meet their environmental responsibilities.
- Actively pursuing the identification of all environmental impacts and hazards, eliminating, or if not possible, managing all risk to as low as is reasonably practicable.
- Where possible exceeding regulatory compliance with best practice environmental performance.
- Establishing and maintaining environmental targets and objectives and monitoring and improving on progress towards achieving these, consistent with ISO14001.
- Ensuring that we have the necessary resources and skills to achieve our environmental targets and objectives.
- Including environmental performance in the appraisal of employees and recognising it accordingly.
- Committing to the initiatives and requirements outlined in our Sustainable Office Policy.
- Require that companies that we deal with manage their environmental performance in line with our own policy requirements.
Management is committed to ensuring this policy is communicated, understood, accepted and successfully implemented across the entire organisation and all relevant stakeholders.
